“The dead still won't die”

Films: Curse of the Blind Dead (2020)

Alias: None

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Back in the 70s, some understated yet no less terrifying villains were swept into obscurity despite their imposing looks. They were the Blind Dead, a group of murderous zombie heretics who couldn't be stopped. Now, they are back, but so much has changed...

History: In this version of their origins, the Knights Templar are not only hung for their crimes, but they get their eyes burnt out via iron. But they don't rise again in the present, they rise in the far future, when the world has been devastated by war. What remains of civilization now fights among itself. Even worse, some deranged cultists are planning on bringing the templars back, something that doesn't bode well for a man who's looking for his soon to be sacrificed daughter.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After the templars rise again, they go about with their havoc until the inevitable happens. The sun rises above them, and they dissipate into nothing. However, everyone knows at this point that the end to this horror is only temporary. The templars will be back, they always come back...

Powers/Abilities: Immortality.

Weakness: Sunlight.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-While not quite as unsettling and skeletal as before, the templars are still a ruthless bunch of religious fanatics from beyond the grave. This time, they look a bit more on the ghoulish side of things, with more expressive and angry-looking faces to boot. Why anyone would want them in the post-apocalypse is anyone's guess.

Trivia: -The leader of the templars was played by Francesco H. Aliberti, who also happened to be this film's producer.

Perhaps more sequels will bring more Trivia?

Just when you thought they shut their no-eyes for good.

Turns out, even the undead pass stones.
Five Blind Nights?
Not even the templars are safe
Should have just burnt and THEN drawn and quartered them.
